Dr. Nancy Hope Alexander currently serves as Chair in the School of Business at Langston University. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Central State University, both her MBA from the Michael F. Price School of Business and her PhD in Adult and Higher Education with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Training and Development from the University of Oklahoma. In 2003, Dr. Alexander completed Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Executive Business Strategic Planning Certification Program. In 2005, Dr. Alexander opened the first U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Center (MBDC) operated by a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) in the nation. She also serves as a lead grant reviewer for five federal programs. Prior to receiving her graduate degrees, Dr. Alexander received her Six Sigma Green Belt certification by mastering quantitative bench-marking techniques in addition to serving as the ISO 14000 technical writer for Seagate Technology’s Telephone Technical Support Division. She also serves a grant writer/evaluator for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.
