Mary Vaughan, M.B.A. is Dean, Seneca Business, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. Vaughan previously served as Dean of the School of Business and Information Technology at College of the North Atlantic (CNA). She has worked in higher education for almost two decades, always with a focus on the delivering quality programs, improving services for students, and community development.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (Earth Sciences) and a Bachelor of Education (Post-Secondary) from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Leicester University. Mary worked in various faculty roles at CNA and led the School of Business and IT as Dean as well as served as the Chair of Program Development (Acting). CNA’s School of Business and IT was first accredited by ACBSP in 2006 and was the first post-secondary institution to receive Business program accreditation.
Since then, Mary has worked with many Canadian colleges to promote ACBSP and the value it provides the students. She thoroughly enjoys her involvement with ACBSP and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors, Chair of the Risk Assessment and Management Committee, Past Chair of the Associate Degree Board of Commissioners, Articulation Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Personnel Committee and looks forward to her continual involvement and participation with ACBSP and higher education.
