Dean at Campbell University since July 2016 focusing on student engagement and external outreach. Key initiatives include establishing and endowing the BB&T Business Fellows program, leasing a site and teaching courses at Raleigh’s leading co-working entrepreneurship space, and developing a four-year leadership and mentoring program. Prior to Campbell, he was a full, tenured professor at Elon University where he revitalized the MBA program. During his tenure, the program was ranked #1 in Bloomberg Business Week’s “Best Administered MBA Program” category. He also led the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial leadership which had substantial cross-campus success. Finally, he is a past president and currently serves on the board of directors of the Academy of Business Education.
