Dr. Rosenthal has a long and varied career from Wall Street, to Tokyo, from the Mediterranean, to Philadelphia, from Pittsburgh, to NY/NJ area and now in Texas – a long, successful series of work experiences in business and education.
After earning a BFA from Syracuse University Dr. Rosenthal worked within the Japanese educational system.
Returning to the States, Dr. Rosenthal worked in industry and Wall Street while earning his MBA at Rutgers University in International Business. Dr. Rosenthal consequently became an entrepreneur, consulting with American businesspeople who needed to learn how to work with and for the Japanese, and was then hired by a division of Dow Jones.
After 5 years as the Senior Representative for Dow Jones/Telerate Financial Information in Tokyo Japan Dr. Rosenthal and his Japanese wife moved to the Mediterranean where he worked as a graphic and fine artist, selling designs and artwork in Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe.
Dr. Rosenthal has been an academic leader since 2003, and has been instrumental in developing and growing undergraduate, graduate on-ground, and online programs, and has developed and led both graduate and undergraduate study abroad programs based on alliances with universities in Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Heidelberg and Tokyo.
He has been a strong proponent and champion of introducing business sustainability programs into the business curricula and has developed courses in creativity and innovative thinking.
