The presentation is designed to explore challenges and opportunities of teaching the “Netflix” generation. Emphasis will be placed on innovative tools to effectively engage students and respond to the change in characteristics of the new generation of students. Description: This presentation will explore the characteristics of today’s generation of students and identify innovative pedagogical strategy to ensure student engagement and success. The presentation will be divided into segments to cover the following:

  1. An introduction to “Pedagogical Innovation”
  2. Comparison between past generations of students and today’s generation of students
  3. Identifying challenges and opportunities presented when teaching today’s generation
  4. Exploring innovative methods and tools to engage students and adapt to their learning style
  5. Q&A
