School of Thought Enterpreneurial Competition and Closing General Session
This pilot program is an ACBSP conference first. The ACBSP School of Thought is a global challenge, similar to the popular ABC series Shark Tank, that rewards entrepreneurs for their most innovative, impactful ideas. Six student teams from ACBSP member institutions will be given a maximum of 10 minutes to pitch their products or services to conference attendees. After their pitch, each team will be allotted time to answer questions from a three-member panel. At the conclusion of all pitches, attendees in the audience will vote using the conference app to determine the winners.
Two prizes will be awarded: $2,000 USD to the Champion Team and $500 USD to the Second Place Team.
