Rebranding Homework: Marketing the Learning Experience to Entrepreneurial Generation Z
In this session, the presenters will discuss the unique educational needs of Entrepreneurial Generation Z and share examples of best practices in serving this distinct target audience. Gen Z students are looking for authentic, meaningful learning experiences designed to help them reach their future career goals (Swanzen, 2018). Gen Z students are more practical and financially driven than millennials and are looking for educational experiences that fit their unique educational values (Rickes, 2016). As business professors, we have a distinct advantage in meeting this need. We understand business strategy. Taking the time to create our personal SWOT, think about customer service, and evaluate our brand messaging can reap incredible dividends. Come for a fun, hands-on session leave with a plan for marketing the learning experience to Entrepreneurial Generation Z.
