Entrepreneur Educator: The Future of Employment in Higher Education

Emerging trends in the higher education workplace include job descriptions such as adjunct faculty, non-tenure track faculty, and part-time guest lecturer. Increasing numbers of faculty are discovering they are within a group of part-time workers in higher education where full-time tenured positions remain occupied or will no longer be offered as an option. After many years some faculty continue managing multiple teaching positions, at different universities, attempting to match a full-time salary, with no additional benefits. However, a non-traditional path exists beyond the traditional path to tenure. Becoming an Entrepreneur Educator is the art of developing entrepreneurial leaders for the new evolution in higher education.
