Developing Creative Entrepreneurial Leaders
The ongoing Art of Developing Entrepreneurial Leaders in higher education has been primarily developed out of the work of academic researchers and practitioners within the traditional entrepreneurial disciplines, for instance in the technology and finance areas. The creative industries have their own set of unique challenges and opportunities. This presentation focuses on the current thinking and convergence in developing creative entrepreneurial leaders that specifically have the skill sets and tools necessary to foster creative intellectual capital. These unconventional minds, innovative and out-of-the-box thinkers require the cultivation of a new targeted set of teaching approaches for their distinct needs. Unique parts of our curriculum and pedagogies are focused on developing the next generation of these leaders which will create a lifetime of opportunities within this market.
