Design Thinking: A Key To Entrepreneurial Thinking & Innovation
Entrepreneurial thinking is not just valuable for individuals looking to start a business. An entrepreneurial mindset is valuable anywhere creative problem solving or value creation is desired. Thus, with increasing frequency, established corporations are also seeking entrepreneurial thinking from their employees. Such organizations recognize creativity and innovations as being crucial for both company sustainability and growth. As a result of the growing demand for entrepreneurial leaders and an entrepreneurial workforce, institutions of higher learning face the challenge of preparing business students accordingly. Design thinking can be an effective tool for doing so. This presentation will review how a curriculum based on design thinking can facilitate innovation, expand creativity and develop entrepreneurial thinking.
